Morocco

 By nature I am adventurous

 and not particularly attracted

 to concrete jungles. From

 the moment I pressed the

shutter on my first camera, I

 have wanted to see Morocco

 through my viewfinder. Last

 April I had the unique

 opportunity to travel off-road

 across the country from

 Tetouan to Merzouga.

 Morocco is a dazzling

 cornucopia of ancient

 architecture, breathtaking

 scenes and mysterious

 sounds. Probably the most

 haunting is the call of

 muezzins calling the faithful

to prayer at twilight - a

 symphony of magic and

 mystery I will never forget.

 It has endless visual

 opportunities and besides

 taking photographs, I was

 able to see a brilliantly

 colourful and beautiful

 country. It was far better

 than I expected and the

 people are incredibly

 friendly. It truly captured me

and I will no doubt return.
